I haven't been a part of a blogging project for a long time. In fact, I haven't been a part of any meme for a while. But when I read about Ariel Meadow's 52 Nights Unplugged project, I felt like girlfriend was reading my mind.

It's simply sad that I spend so much time in front of a computer screen. I work in front of the computer practically all day, but I have to admit that there are many times when I find myself surfing the net out of habit and instead out of necessity. It's seriously sad. I fuss at my kids for being on the computer too much, but I haven't set an example getting my eyeballs away from it at least one day in a week. I mean, I know I should be able to do this.

So starting tomorrow evening, I'm unplugging for one evening a week.

I'll use this site to post how I'm sticking to the project.

I'm not sure if Ariel was trying to start a meme or something, but I do encourage others to give it a try if they are in the same position.
