Sometimes I wonder if God uses me as a vessel to do something for him. I always try to approach everyone I meet even enemies with kindness and love. I'm thankful for the wonderful opportunities I have had to *bump* into some amazing individuals.
Yesterday, it was SO random but I met a
Tuskegee Airman,
Charles McGhee, while I was riding on an elevator with my Mom at
Union Station in Washington, DC. We realized we were with a Tuskegee Airman when we saw the gentleman's jacket which was a red bomber jacket and it read, "Tuskegee Airman". I almost cried for I know a lot of the Tuskegee Airman are deceased so it was an honor to ride the elevator with someone who is a history maker.
When I get the picture from my Mom, I'll make sure to share but she took a picture with me and him. He is so cute. I cannot believe he is 90 years old. God blessed him with a long life. He shared with us that
George Lucas has been working on a film about them so I will be the FIRST in line to see it.
